We are pleased to announce that we are officially re-opening tomorrow, Friday, June 12, 2020 for personal and group training! Thank you very much for your support during this challenging and unusual time. Since 2007 our team has served the local soccer community by providing a safe and fun environment for learning and playing the game of soccer. To continue in this endeavor, we are strengthening our focus on the health and safety of our athletes, and their families, by modifying our facility’s policies and procedures. The below revisions will help us maintain a safe environment, for all, when we resume “in person” soccer activities in the coming weeks.
PICK-UP GAMES WILL REMAIN SUSPENDED UNTIL THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELEASES THE RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES. WE ARE ANTICIPATING EARLY JULY AS A POSSIBLE TIME FRAME.
Limited Facility Access: Only the trainers, and athletes will be allowed in the facility during training. Parents and family members will be able to watch training from outside through the open roll-up doors and or live via Zoom on their laptop, tablet or cell phone. Wearing facial protective masks is always recommended when observing in or near the facility doors.
Routine Cleaning of High Touch Surfaces and Equipment: Including but not limited to, tables, doorknobs, light switches, counter-tops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks, cones, goals, etc….
Facility Rollover: There will be a 30-minute separation period between each training session. Each athlete is encouraged to leave the facility promptly after their training session ends. The 30 minute period will be used to switch the number of Athletes in the facility, reduce human interactions, and disinfect the equipment and facility.
Improve Facility Circulation: All roll-up doors and interior fans will be run to increase air circulation in the facility during training and after cleaning.
Facial Covering and Body Temperature: Deft Touch Trainers and staff will wear cloth face coverings while in the facility, including during training sessions. Athletes are encouraged to do the same. Body temperatures may be taken upon entering our facility.
No Contact Rule: No soccer contact will be permitted between athletes and or trainers during training, this includes high-fives, fist-bumps, handshaking or body to body soccer contact. Non-contact games will be used to offer the competitive and FUN atmosphere normally experienced in our training.
Social Distancing: Reasonable spatial gaps will always be observed between athletes and trainers.
We are now booking “in person” private and small group training sessions, only, on a first come first serve basis. Currently, no Pick-Up games are available at Deft Touch.
·Sessions are now available for booking from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., daily.
